Family Practice Conference 2022: Call for workshop proposals

Back to events

The Resolution Family Practice Conference will take place in person at the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham on 6 and 7 October 2022. We welcome proposals for workshops - please read on for more details.

As well as keynote speakers, a debate and plenty of time for networking, the Conference will include five workshops which will take place in person on Friday 7 October.  We welcome proposals from members who would like to plan and deliver a workshop to delegates.  The deadline for proposals is Monday 18 July at 12 noon.

Your workshop should be interactive, 90 minutes in length and able to cater for up to 45 delegates.  Workshops aimed at different levels of knowledge and expertise will be welcomed as it’s important to have a variety of levels on offer, particularly sessions aimed at younger or less experienced practitioners.  Advanced workshops should be aimed at DR practitioners with expertise, have challenging content and provide deeper insights into the various aspects of out of court work.

The workshops will run twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

We aim for the Family Practice Conference to appeal to the broadchurch of Resolution including the different professions, backgrounds, experiences and practices our members represent.  We are especially keen to receive workshop proposals from the full diversity of our membership; if you haven’t presented a workshop at Conference before please don’t feel excluded from this opportunity – you are welcome to contact us with any questions and to discuss your ideas prior to submitting a proposal.

One free full conference place will be allocated per workshop, which includes dinner and accommodation on the Thursday night. If you are presenting jointly, the free place can be taken by either one of you, or shared as you see fit.

To propose a workshop, please complete the short form below.  The deadline for proposals is Monday 18 July at 12 noon. All proposals will be discussed by the Conference planning group who will consider how the topics could fit together in the programme.  We may not be able to include all proposals but will be in touch with you with feedback and ideas about other opportunities if this is the case.

We look forward to hearing from you, many thanks in advance.
