The role

John Hodge Solicitors are looking to recruit experienced Family Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives to join and assist in the future development of their long established private practice based across North Somerset and Bristol.

Working with a Family Law team of two lawyers and their support team and dealing with privately funded work only, you will be dealing with a busy caseload including divorce, private children act proceedings, financial and cohabitation matters. You will work closely with the head of department to explore areas of growth, helping them to coach and mentor more junior members of the team, whilst having the opportunity to develop your own caseload and be supported with your own career progression.

Candidate specification

As an ideal candidate you will be local to the area where you work to incorporate a working knowledge of the area into the service you offer each of your clients. Calm and focused under pressure, you must be a team player with a willingness to get involved in marketing initiatives and business development to raise your profile and that of the Family Law team at John Hodge Solicitors. Good IT and communication skills are also important as is a friendly and approachable persona.
