The role
Beverley Morris & Co. solicitors, in Blackheath Village, London, SE3 0TJ, seek a competent Family Law Solicitor to join their happy, hardworking team.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in their field but at the same time understanding of clients' needs, providing them with reassurance and inspiring them with confidence leading to recommendation of future work. They will also be someone who will give a favourable impression of the firm in general leading to recommendation of future work to the firm's other departments.
This is a full time position with working hours from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Beverley Morris & Co. has comfortable, well equipped, air-conditioned offices overlooking Blackheath Common. We are immediately adjacent to a lovely café/restaurant, three doors away from The Ivy Café and within close proximity of several well known retail outlets. We are also only a couple of minutes' walk from Blackheath main line station (London Bridge 12 minutes), on several bus routes and Blackheath is only one stop from Lewisham DLR.
It is proposed that the position should be office based so ideally it would suit someone within easy commuting distance of Blackheath Village. It is possible that a hybrid arrangement could be discussed after a successful introductory period.
Benefits are 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays and Christmas closing and a contributory pension scheme.
There would be partnership/succession prospects for the right person.
Candidate specification
This is a terrific opportunity for a dynamic, committed Family Law Solicitor to head up and build a Family Law department in a well established three partner law firm based in a beautiful part of South East London.
The successful candidate will work as part of the non-property team which currently comprises one Family Law solicitor, two Private Client solicitors, a Litigation/Employment solicitor and three support staff.
