Talented Family Lawyer/Mediator sought for leadership role in fast growing Legal 500 Niche Practice (also the winners of the Modern Law Awards 2020 – Boutique Law Firm (11+ employees)),
*You will lead the mediation team – which we intend to grow.
*You will be part of our management team.
*You will work with/be mentored by our founder who has been a mediator since 1996 and is a PPC and a member of Resolution’s DR Committee.(If mentoring needed).
*Based in Exeter
*Flexible working is possible.
*Given the uptake of mediation by video-conference we are open to consider candidates who are based outside of the south-west and who are comfortable with the provision of online mediation. (although we would want them to visit the office from time to time and commit to become fully integrated in our team).
*We are based in modern offices in Exeter and have a network of offices/locations from where we meet clients which is currently: Bath, Bristol, Honiton, Plymouth, Shaftesbury, Taunton, Torquay, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare and Yeovil. We are open to this network expanding further.
*We are committed to being a friendly and inclusive practice and making best use of technology to enable us to deliver the best legal and mediation services as a modern practice.
*We hold a legal aid contract for mediation (and family law) and can provide a route to mediation accreditation.

You will be;
*committed to the values of Resolution.
*A progressive Family Law specialist solicitor.
*Ideally Family Mediation Council or Law Society Mediation Accredited - but not essential as we can provide a route to accreditation.
*You will relish the challenge of growing our mediation team and family DR skills and participating in the wider Resolution and mediation world.
*You will combine a mediation caseload with a children or divorce caseload, or both.
*Good sense of humour also essential.
