David Starkey

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2003 and have worked for John Hodge Solicitors since 2015.

I have practiced Family Law throughout my career with particular emphasis on divorce, financial matters, children matters and cohabitation disputes.

I believe that an amicable approach should be undertaken when discussing matters which relate to a relationship breakdown. I understand that this is a very difficult time for client’s and that it is incredibly important that they choose a legal representative whom they trust and who also takes the right approach in dealing with their matters.

I  have, for the past number of years, been accredited as a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel. This, along with my Resolution membership, means that i have a technical understanding of the law along with following the Resolution Code of Practice allowing me to work in a fashion which reduces the emotional and financial impact of your separation.

I am able to offer prospective client’s a free consultation whereby we can discuss your legal issues, possible solutions and discuss cost estimates. This free consultation places no obligation upon the prospective client to instruct me but allows that person access to legal advice.

On a separate note i enjoy football and am a huge fan of Sheffield United FC.
