Daniel Bester

Daniel Bester is a fully accredited FMC Family Mediator who runs his home-based practice from Woking, Surrey. He specialises in contact and living arrangement disputes. He also works online.

During 2005 Daniel completed a Divorce and Family Mediation course at the Family Life Centre in Johannesburg. For the next two years he worked as a Family Councillor at the Johannesburg Family Court.

Daniel completed his Family Mediation Foundation Course with the Family Mediation Association in 2019.

Daniel moved from South Africa to the UK in 2007 and spent a year working as a Social Worker at Surrey County Council.

In 1994 Daniel was awarded an honours degree in Social Work from the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Afterwards he worked for three years as a Social Worker at South Africa’s Department of Social Development.

Daniel is known for his compassionate approach to family matters. He is skilled at helping families through the temporary crisis of relationship breakdown.
