Craig is an Associate Solicitor for award winning firm Family Law Partners and is based in their Brighton & Hove office. He trained as a solicitor in London before qualifying in 2010. He subsequently relocated to Sussex where he has been practising as a family solicitor since 2014.

Craig has experience of dealing with a wide range of family law issues including divorce and associated financial matters, children matters, cohabitation disputes and injunctions. He is a member of Resolution and strongly believes in a constructive and non-confrontational approach. He seeks to empower clients to reach an amicable and fair agreement wherever possible, although he will also ensure that clients are well represented in court proceedings when required.

Craig has been a Resolution Accredited Specialist in the fields of Private Children and Complex Financial Remedy cases (middle/high income and assets) since 2019. He is experienced in dealing with complex children disputes including those involving allegations of domestic abuse and parental alienation, special guardianship orders and applications to relocate. He also has significant experience in resolving financial matters on divorce including cases with complicating factors such as those involving multiple pensions, business assets, inherited assets, trust assets and overseas properties.

Craig is a recommended lawyer in the 2024 edition of the Legal 500 with testimonials including:

‘Craig Yeung-Williams is very personable and has a good grasp of the law.’

‘I know Craig Yeung-Williams who is excellent.’

‘Craig Yeung-Williams is pragmatic and calm but totally on top of his cases. I have only done financial remedy cases with him where he has shown a towering command of the figures and is very impressive and quick to identify solutions.’

In 2022 Craig acted for the father in the reported case of Ms D v Mr D [2022] EWFC 164 (03 September 2022), which received significant national media coverage. A very positive result was achieved for the father with the mother’s application to internally relocate with the children being resisted (despite Cafcass recommending that it be permitted) thereby preserving the shared care arrangement for the father.

Outside of work Craig enjoys spending time with his young family, as well as keeping fit and watching the Welsh rugby team play in Cardiff whenever he can.
