Making the case for cohabitation reform
Support us by writing to your your local MP and echoing our call for cohabitation reform.
As this year was an important year politically, we asked our members to focus their usual Awareness Week efforts writing to electoral candidates and newly elected MPs around the time of the General Election in July.
During the week of 25-29 November, Resolution will continue to make the case for cohabitation reform, taking your message to Westminster.
On Tuesday 26 November, we will be hosting an event in the House of Commons. Members of our Cohabitation Committee and Family Law Reform Group will meet with MPs, Ministers and Select Committee Chairs in a high-level, focused discussion on what reform in this area may look like.
The event, hosted by Andy Slaughter MP, Chair of the Justice Select Committee, is taking place on Tuesday 26th November.
Just as we did in the run-up to the election campaign with candidates, we are asking our members, and the family justice community, to support us by writing to your your local MP this week and echoing our call for reform at a local level.
