About

Kent Resolution leads the delivery of Resolution’s work in Ashford, Bexley, Bromley, Canterbury, Chatham, Dartford, Dover, Folkestone, Gillingham, Gravesend, Maidstone, Margate, Orpington, Ramsgate, Rochester, Sevenoaks, Sheerness, Tenterden, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

The Committee

Our committee meets on the first Tuesday of every other month and we normally hold our Annual General Meeting in November.

Our committee members come from all over Kent and reflect a range of practice sizes and all areas of family law. Many members are accredited specialists, trained mediators or qualified collaborative lawyers.

Members of the committee also sit on other committees such as Resolution’s Regional Liaison Committee, the Kent Family Justice Council, Collaborative PODs and the various Court Users Groups across the Region.

Our aims

Our aim is to serve the Resolution members in our area, primarily though the provision of education. We normally organize 4 courses a year and aim to address topical areas of interest to all family practitioners.

We also organise social events from time to time, ranging from Black Tie dinners in Kent’s grandest locations to smaller, more informal, lunchtime gatherings.

Get involved!

If there are any issues you would like to raise, or ideas that you have, please contact the Secretary, or you can attend our AGM.

If you would like to serve the region by being on the committee, elections are held at the AGM.
