This two-day training course leads to recognition as a Professional Practice Consultant.
9 May – 10 May 2019
London
Mediators need not just to be united, they need to be properly supported and assisted in their practice towards appropriate qualification and recognition as practising to, and maintaining, a standard of excellence. Are you able to support other mediators in both their private and publicly funded practice?
Professional Practice Consultants provide invaluable and increasingly vital support to mediators. And, as a result of a significant rise in the number of solicitors training to be mediators, increasing the network of available consultants is urgent and essential as the mediator population grows.
This course is open to experienced mediators, usually those who are accredited/competence assessed or who are willing to commit to completing accreditation/competence assessment before taking up practice as a PPC*. Applicants will need an endorsement from their own PPC. This two-day training course leads to recognition as a Professional Practice Consultant.
Please note
* for those who wish to support mediators in publicly funded practice, LSC provisions require Professional Practice Consultants to be themselves competent to carry out publicly funded work.
