The role
David Gray is looking for a solicitor with 4+ years post qualification experience in family work.

The family team at David Gray are all members of Resolution and committed to finding ‘A better way’ in family law cases.
We are a large family law department offering the full spectrum of family law services. Each solicitor within the team has a dedicated mentor as well as PA and paralegal support.
Role:
• To undertake a wide range of family work including divorce, finance, public and private children and domestic abuse
• To uphold exceptional standards of quality and client care
We have been supporting people in the North East and nationally for over 45 years with family law issues; we recognise the approach for separating families has changed a lot in this time and want to provide the most flexible and relevant solutions to empower support our clients and their families. Full time and part time hours are available via a hybrid model of home and office working.

Candidate specification
Essential:
- 4 years+ PQE in family law
- Experience of full range of family work
- Experience of court advocacy
- Detailed knowledge of family law
- Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Personal work planning and organisational skills
- Ability to think clearly and logically and communicate orally and in writing
- Good command of written and oral England
- Effective use of IT
- Ability to manage own caseload
- Exceptional client care skills
- Flexible approach to working conditions and working environment
- Honestly, tolerance, common sense, energy and a good sense of humour
Desirable
- Resolution specialist accreditation/membership of panels relevant to the post
- Supervision and training responsibilities
- Involvement with professional family law organisations
- Active interest in what we do and how we do it
