The role
Hopkin Murray Beskine is looking for an established solicitor with strong private family law experience of at least five years PQE, although more experienced solicitors are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities:
Have a strong network and the ability to build work from contacts.
Enjoy and be actively involved in marketing and business development opportunities.
Panel accredited or working towards it.
Advising on a variety of privately funded family matters.
Providing support/cover for other team members as needed.

They have a collaborative, friendly workplace, based in Islington, North London, and hold regular departmental team meetings and offer easy cross-departmental consultation with public children law, housing law and public law/human rights colleagues.

The private family department solicitors are members of The Law Society’s Family Law Panel and Children Panel, with Resolution membership, and ICACU panel membership. The work carried out by the private family team includes divorce and civil partnership separations, financial remedy proceedings, nuptial agreements, financial remedy disputes, and complex child arrangement disputes.
Candidate specification
Private family law experience of at least 5 years PQE, although more experienced solicitors are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will run their own caseload independently, but will have support from junior members of the team.
You will have experience in the following areas:
Divorce and Finances;
Private Children Law;
Domestic Abuse, Non-Molestation Orders/ Occupation Orders
Breakdown of a relationship
Cohabitation and civil partnership
Accreditation in child abduction is not essential but would be viewed positively. Some knowledge of (or interest in) legal aid work may assist the successful candidate, but is not required.
