With over 20 years’ family law experience I have been working in an advisory and client representative capacity since 2014 and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018.

I assist clients in relation to divorce and dissolution proceedings and provide advice as to the division of matrimonial/partnership assets upon separation, helping clients to achieve a fair outcome. I deal with financial cases with modest to high net worth assets which often involve the instruction of experts such as a property valuer and/or pension actuary.

I advise clients in relation to financial claims arising from their separation including property adjustment orders, periodical payments orders and pension sharing orders.

In addition to assisting separated married couples, I also advise separated unmarried couples in relation to financial and contested property matters where beneficial interest is being disputed.

My practice also includes wealth protection for clients in the form of nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.

I have a keen interest in representing clients within court proceedings concerning disputes over care arrangements for children and have experience in court advocacy. I have a conciliatory and empathetic approach which is particularly appreciated by clients in relation to applications under the Children Act 1989 for Child Arrangements Orders, Specific Issue Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders.

I am experienced in dealing with private law children work involving complex welfare and safeguarding issues and applications for the relocation of children out of the local jurisdiction.

In addition to my qualification as a CILEX Lawyer, I am also qualified in HR Management and I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
