My name is Amber Matheson and I am a specialist Family Solicitor. I have experience dealing with a wide range of family matters and no client or case is ever the same. I have experience dealing with international assets, complex business structures and complex child issues including parental alienation and abduction.

I advise across the full range of family matters including pre- and post- nuptial agreements, divorce, finances, separation after cohabitation, arrangements for children and leave to remove cases (relocation outside of the jurisdiction).  Many of my cases involve a form of domestic abuse and I have experience of making and defending emergency applications.

I offer an initial Fixed Fee Consultation which lasts 60 – 90 minutes and clients leave the consultation reassured of their rights/entitlements and informed of the options available to them. I will always explain how matters can be settled outside of and in court so that my clients can choose the right option for them and their family. A Consultation can be all that a client needs to be able to take the matter forward on their own, or it can be a sensible start to their solicitor advice so that the discussions thereafter are focussed on taking meaningful steps forward.
