Amber Matheson

Amber is a Senior Associate Solicitor and Mediator at KGW Family Law. Amber undertakes all private family law work and has particular experience with complex divorces, involving international assets, high value property, complex investments and public sector pensions (including military and teacher’s pension schemes, particularly after the McCloud Remedy Period). She is also experienced in obtaining leave to relocate children within and outside the jurisdiction of England and Wales. Amber can also advise in relation to relationship related agreements (e.g. pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and separation agreements).

Amber takes a pragmatic approach to her cases: as a solicitor, providing clear, jargon free advice from the outset and setting realistic expectations as to the potential outcomes; and as a mediator, proactively facilitating conversations to help couples reach decisions sooner. Amber is committed to the Resolution Code of Practice and resolves matters away from court wherever it is suitable and safe to do so.
