I assist clients who are going through the difficult process of a divorce or separation by providing them with help, advice and guidance on how to progress their matter in a cost effective and as painless manner as possible.

I am a specialist family solicitor with a focus on dividing assets on divorce and in particular high value and complex matters involving public sector pensions, spousal maintenance and valuable assets.  I am able to advise clients where one party has attempted to hide assets, has spent excessively and also where expert evidence is required to consider assets including personal belongings and business interests.  Being based on the south coast I regularly advise on Armed Forces Pensions, including how they should be divided on divorce and often act for serving personnel and retired servicemen and women who are separating.

My experience also includes advising clients who are involved in a dispute concerning the arrangements for children.  My experience includes advising clients on national and international relocation with children, parental alienation cases and advising clients on appealing a decision of the family court.  I have regularly worked on cases with a public law element and I am able to assist clients who have previously had involvement with social services.

In addition to my work on the breakdown of a relationship, I am able to advise clients who are consider a nuptial agreement (both pre and post nuptial agreements) on their options, how best to protect their assets on divorce and also on the fairness of any proposed agreement.

I pride myself on being able to build a positive working relationship with my clients, which is both friendly and informal whilst ensuring that their case is dealt with robustly.  I am noted in the Legal 500 rankings as a Key Lawyer within the Family law sector, having been given recognition for private law children matters in particular.
