I am joint General Manager of SearchLight Counselling and Therapy (formerly Relate West surrey). I am also a clinical supervisor as well as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

At SearchLight we work with couples who are often in distress. At times couples counselling results in separation counselling or clients come to us specifically for this service. We support clients to navigate their differences, communication and emotional pain through the separation and divorce process.

Individuals also come to us for personal support to make sense of the changes they may be experiencing when their relationship is ending.

At SearchLight we offer family mediation supporting separating, divorcing or divorced couples to reach a pre-court arrangement for children and/or finances following a relationship breakdown.

Our family counsellors support families to understand changing family dynamics and help parents have difficult conversations with children. We support families re-addressing the changing family dynamics because of separation or divorce.

SearchLight offers a service we call Your Space for children and young people from the age of 5. It can be very helpful for children and young people to open up to their confusing feelings to someone outside the family. Separation and divorce are difficult for adults to manage; for children it can be so much harder.
