I’ve been a specialist family solicitor since qualifying in 2008 and have a wealth of experience in family cases. I am passionate about the law and legal changes, especially in Family Law as every client is unique.

Over the course of my career I have supported hundreds of clients through divorces (both defended and undefended), dissolution of civil partnerships, matrimonial finances including the division of the family home, family business, pensions and other assets.

I have also been instructed to prepare separation agreements and cohabitation agreements together with financial consent orders. In addition to this I have represented clients in children disputes including relocation cases, residence and contact, as well as representing and helping parents and grandparents in these proceedings.

Dealing with clients as individuals I adopt a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family matters. However, where necessary, you have to be robust to negotiate the best settlement for her clients whilst always being keenly aware of the emotional and financial costs of the proceedings.

Setting out all options for my clients is important and I aim to settle matters as quickly and cost effectively as possible.  At Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers in Oldham, we advise clients on the short and long term implications of any financial settlements with the support of our in house financial advisers who can assist clients where necessary.

I studied law at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and continued my studies in law passing the LPC at the University of Central Lancashire.

Whilst being based at our Oldham office I often see clients at their convenience both remotely or by face to face appointments as it’s important for clients to be comfortable when going through an emotional and stressful period.
