Farah Naz

Farah is a Partner and Heads up the family department at Barretts Law.

Farah specialises in representing clients in divorce/dissolution, children, and financial proceedings arising from the breakdown of marriage or relationships – she has a wealth of experience in representing high net worth clients. She is able to draft separation agreements for those who are not ready to dissolve a marriage for religious or non-religious reasons. Farah understands the religious and cultural challenges that people with Islamic marriages can face (particularly if they have not been legally registered in UK and Wales), so can guide and assist clients in reaching fair and reasonable settlements. Additionally, Farah often represents unmarried couples and can draft cohabitee agreements, pre-nuptial, and post-nuptial agreements. She has experience of advocating for clients who are victims of domestic abuse. She also speaks Urdu and Punjabi, and is happy to advise in those languages too.

A lover of baking, travelling, spending time with family and friends, and going for long walks, she also takes a keen interest in motorsport events, such as drifting and F1.
