As a Chartered Financial Planner I help individuals and couples understand the financial implications of divorce. This can include identifying and quantifying immediate and future financial needs. I prepare forecasts to establish how these needs can be met including calculating the capital sums required to achieve a level of income (if relevant).

As a qualified pensions and investment adviser, I investigate existing policies and identify how to divide assets to maximise what is available for the financial settlement taking account of policy features and taxes; improving financial outcomes. I formulate personalised financial plans and recommend appropriate investment and pension structures for clients who have reached a financial settlement.

My approach to financial planning is to support, educate and provide expert advice; helping clients better understand their financial affairs and improving confidence during the divorce proceedings and beyond.
