Every person’s background and experience are unique, which is why it’s incredibly important for me to tailor my approach to suit my clients’ needs and goals. Whether we’re discussing divorce, where the children are going to live, or a pre-nuptial agreement, it’s important to me that I take a moment to really listen to what each client is saying, to find out what they value most.

Family law touches the most personal parts of our lives and good communication is vital, both in terms of regularity and clarity. There are times when clients, particularly those looking to begin divorce proceedings, come to me with no prior knowledge or expectation of the process. This can lead to unrealistic expectations, both in expecting too much or too little, but it’s crucial I set out these facts to my clients objectively, so they can make the most informed decision on how to move forward.

But whichever direction my client chooses to go in, I support them with respect, empathy and objectivity to achieve the best outcomes, whilst managing expectations.

I have spent almost 5 years specialising in family law, having recently joined the family law team at Britton and Time who are now ranked first as divorce lawyers in Brighton and Hove.
