As a fully accredited FMC mediator and Resolution-trained Family Consultant I help couples and parents who are separating or have separated. The heart of this work is to help families find workable solutions at a distressing time of their lives, paying particular attention to the communication issues and emotional undercurrents that can sabotage the best of intentions.

I am particularly passionate about minimising any negative emotional and psychological impact family breakup may have on children and I am qualified to see the children of separated couples, if appropriate, to allow the children’s voices to be heard.

I work closely with other professionals including family lawyers who recognise that the combination of psychotherapeutic expertise, along with an understanding of the family law process, can provide their clients with help and interventions that address the emotional and communication issues around divorce and separation which, if ignored, can so easily derail a healthy outcome for the family.
