Brighton and Hove Law was established in October 2012 and was set up as a niche family specialist law firm. Lucy Gregory is the sole practitioner and has been practising family law since 2007, has close links with the community and a good reputation for professional standards.
The firm aims to provide a client focused proactive approach that is excellent value for money. Brighton & Hove Law have dispensed with the traditional law firm model whilst retaining the personable values of a high street firm. Clients deal directly with their lawyer at all times having a direct dial and mobile number and can build a solid dependable relationship with their solicitor. Emphasis on providing a personal empathic service, really caring about clients and the results achieved for them. Clients can contact their solicitor out of hours and therefore have confidence that their matter will be dealt with when necessary. The aim is to provide flexibility to allow people to deal with their personal lives without taking time off work. This also means we are there at crisis times for example to assist people in removal of children cases and we can deal with matters quickly and efficiently.
In 2016 Brighton and Hove Law renovated premises at 63 Coleridge Street, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 5AA – this increased the size of the offices to allow for further expansion. In this regard a highly experienced Will and Probate Solicitor, Michael Coleman, joined from regional firm DMH Stallard in January 2018 and in September 2019 a highly experienced CILEX fee earner, Sarah Dummett, joined the firm from Fitzhugh Gates to undertake mainly public law children and private divorce matters which enhances the family team and services we can offer.
We have also built up our reputation and practice acting for international clients having acted for clients in children and financial matters in Australia, Bulgaria, Egypt, Germany, USA and Spain.
