Lydia Murray

I specialise in private law children family work advising parents on child arrangements orders, specific issue orders and prohibited steps orders. I can advise parents on other complicated aspects of children law including parental alienation, relocation and surrogacy. I also advise parents and other family members on special guardianship orders.

I have experience in assisting parents who are victims of domestic abuse and parents who are alleged to be a perpetrator of domestic abuse. This includes advising on non-molestation orders and occupation orders.

I am co-chair of Devon YRes (Young Resolution) whose purpose is to support junior family law professionals in their career development. This includes building relationships with other solicitors, legal executives and barristers. In turn this fosters a network of family law professionals whom are all working together to assist parents in moving forward with their lives.
