I am a family law barrister and mediator practicing in all areas of family law, with a specialism in private client matters including financial remedies, Schedule 1, TOLATA, and children law. My particular areas of expertise include pensions on divorce, hidden assets and non-disclosure, parental disputes including those that involve mental health issues, ‘parental alienation’, relocation (internal and international) and complex high-conflict relationships.
I’m an all issues family mediator trained by Resolution, and offer the hybrid model of family mediation that can include the parties’ respective solicitors in the process.
I am also the co-chair of the Young Resolution national committee and one of Coram Chambers’ two heads of wellbeing.
I was a finalist for the 2018 Family Law Junior Barrister of the Year award and a finalist for the 2019 Family Law Commentator of the Year award, and am ranked as a leading junior in the 2020 Legal 500.
I am also a regular seminar speaker and writer, presenting regularly at national-level conferences as well as in-house. Recent seminars, webinars and articles include pensions on divorce, applied psychology in a family law context, wellbeing for family lawyers and the nuances and pitfalls of parental alienation allegations.
