I am a Senior Associate in the Family team.

I specialises in all aspects of private family law, advising married and non-married families who are going through the separation process in relation to their relationship breakdown and financial division.  This includes divorce, negotiations in relation to their financial division, and recording agreements in Court Orders.  My work also involves supporting couples who would like to preserve their assets when entering into a relationship or marriage, by advising on cohabitation agreements or nuptial agreements.  I advise a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals and business owners.

In addition, I seek to safeguard client’s interests in family disputes, obtaining injunctions to protect against domestic violence or harassment.

I am recognised most notably for supporting parents who want the best for their children.  My advice assists families with all matters relating to children, including living and contact arrangements.  I receive positive feedback for the support I offer parents throughout the process to ensure the children’s welfare is of paramount consideration.

As a member of Resolution, I strive to resolve disputes as amicably as possible with an empathetic and sensitive approach to the client’s needs.

Recent examples of how I have supported clients include:

• securing the sale of a client’s property occupied by a family member who refused to vacate;
• assisting a client to protect funds received from a personal injury claim following an accident at work;
• negotiating contact arrangements for a father who had been alienated from the children’s lives.
