Sally Stanway

Sally is a senior associate at the Liverpool Office of JMW Solicitors.  Sally joined the firm’s family team in June2020, having  previously worked as a family solicitor in Merseyside, Manchester and Chester.

Since qualifying in 2010 Sally has specialised in family law matters with a wide caseload covering divorce, financial matters arising upon separation for both married and unmarried couples and disputes involving children including international relocation.

Sally is experienced in dealing with complex financial matters arising upon divorce including matters of with an international aspect, matters involving trusts and agricultural matters.

Sally is a member of Resolution and committed to the Code of Practice. Sally has been actively involved in the regional Resolution groups throughout her career having chaired the Merseyside Yres committee and serving as a committee member to the national Yres Committee for five years. Sally continues to sit on Resolutions Specialist Accreditation Committee. 

Sally is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Complex financial matters, Co-habitation and Trust of Land and Collaboratively trained.

Sally draws upon all of her experience when advising her clients taking a sensible approach to resolve matters in the best interest of her client.
