I am a key senior member of the family team of Shakespeare Martineau in Leicester.

I have an enviable background in all family law topics and I am consistently recognised in the Legal 500, being highly skilled in dealing with family breakdowns.

I have a wealth of experience gained over more than 25 years and I act for a whole range of clients, including Business owners, professionals, Doctors, Farmers and Land Owners and many more.

My work can involve dealing with business assets, trusts, farms, inheritances and pensions, as well as Pre and Post Nuptial planning, Cohabitation Agreements and child disputes. I also deal with Schedule One Children Act matters, involving financial provision for a child upon a relationship breakdown, as well as emergency applications when required.

I have an outstanding reputation as a talented negotiator, with a calm but tenacious approach. I get to know my clients and assess their needs at the outset, so that I can act in their best possible interests, as cost effectively as possible.

I work with experienced barristers, including Queen’s Counsel, whenever the need arises and I have a solid network of experienced experts to hand, should their services ever be required.

I have an eye for detail and will find imaginative and commercial solutions to the range of issues presented to me.
