I’m the founder of Brave Horizon, a coaching practice supporting men through separation, divorce, family and criminal court proceedings. Everything I do is shaped by my own experience, years spent navigating family and criminal court in parallel, including periods as a litigant in person.

I know what it feels like to be in that position, and that’s exactly why I do this work. It means I can offer clients a space that feels genuinely familiar, because I’ve walked their ground before. That understanding means a great deal to the men I work with, many of whom have found that therapists and other coaches, however well meaning, simply haven’t lived it, and so can’t hold space for them in the same way I can.

I work alongside solicitors and family law professionals, never instead of them. While the legal team carries the case, I help carry the client’s emotional journey. I help him find clarity when everything feels overwhelming, confidence to face what’s ahead, and control over a process that so often feels like it’s controlling him.

That’s the foundation of everything I do, clarity, confidence, control, and it’s what lets him arrive at every meeting a little calmer, a little clearer, and better able to work with his solicitor. But what matters most to me is helping a man see beyond the case itself. It’s so easy to become consumed by it, the next hearing, the next piece of correspondence, the fear of what might be lost, until that’s all life feels like. I gently help clients lift their eyes further out, toward who they want to become and the life they want to build once this chapter is behind them. That shift changes everything, not just how the case unfolds, but how a man shows up for himself and for his family throughout it.

I hold a range of accredited qualifications that underpin my practice, including ICF training, a Professional Life Coach Certification, NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner certification, a Resilience Life Coach Certification, REBT Practitioner Certification, and a Positive Psychology Practitioner Diploma, alongside further training in managing stress and building resilience. I’m also an Introductory Associate of the Association for Coaching, and I’ve trained with the ManKind Initiative on supporting male victims of domestic abuse.

If any of your clients are struggling to cope with the process itself, not just the legal outcome, I’d love the chance to talk it through with you.

Warmly,
Tony
