Victoria works on a wide range of private family matters, including:

Divorce and Separation;
Matters relating to Children (for example child arrangements and financial provision for children);
Financial disputes;
Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements;
Injunctions (for example applications for Occupation and Non-Molestation Orders); and
Surrogacy and International Surrogacy.

Since qualifying in April 2018 Victoria has developed a specialism in international surrogacy, a niche and growing area of Family Law which she is passionate about. Victoria assists intended parents in obtaining Parental Orders so they can be recognised as the legal parents of their children born through surrogacy. Victoria has worked with a wide range of clients who have chosen to enter into surrogacy arrangements in a variety of different countries including the Ukraine, the US, South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria.

Victoria also works on a wide range of cases involving all areas of family law as listed above. In accordance with Resolution’s Code of Practice, Victoria places a strong emphasis on resolving issues in a constructive way. Since qualifying Victoria has been able to secure financial settlements for many of her clients through negotiations outside of the court room.

Prior to joining Edward Cooke Family Law in May 2023, Victoria obtained over 10 years of family law experience in London. She practised as a specialist family lawyer in London for 5 years with a West London Firm, having qualified into their Family Team in 2018.

Victoria actually started her legal career in 2012 in Central London, where she gained significant experience working as a paralegal at two leading Family Law Firms, assisting on complex high-net-worth matters, often with an international element, before starting her training contract in 2016.

Prior to that Victoria graduated from the University of the West of England with First Class Honours in Law (LLB) and went on to attain her Legal Practice Couse at the College of Law in Guildford, where she obtained a commendation.
