Resolution members who took part in the latest round of the Specialist Accreditation scheme are being informed of their results this week.
Specialist Accreditation is a mark of excellence for practitioners of family law who have demonstrated a thorough knowledge of law, procedure and practice.
Members who pass the assessment can display the accreditation logo on promotional material which can have a positive impact upon their career. The deadline for members to apply for the next round of accreditation for Lawyers is 19 March.
Eleanor Webster, an associate at Weightmans LLP, scored one of the highest marks in the spring accreditation round of 2019 and spoke of the enormous benefits it brought her.
“It can be hard for clients to know where to turn, particularly when a marriage breaks down”, she says. “Resolution Specialist Accreditation provides reassurance of technical expertise, and adherence to the good practice through the Resolution Code. Achieving accreditation, and having done so well, has boosted my profile within my team, office and the wider firm.”
“I have recently been promoted, and put that down, in part, to my achievement. We have been able to use my success to build on my external profile too. We know clients use validation tools to choose their lawyers, and the accreditation scheme is a quality mark which helps me stand out amongst competitors. I am proud to call myself an Accredited Specialist.”
Peter Jones, chair of Resolution’s Specialist Accreditation committee, urged interested members to apply for the next round of accreditation. He extended his congratulations to all new Accredited Specialists who have demonstrated the highest quality skills, proficiency and experience in family law.
“The scheme allows our members an opportunity to enhance their career with Resolution’s stamp of excellence. It’s an opportunity not to be missed”, he added.
