Lunch and Learn Session 9- Child Focused Courts – An Evolution
Session 9 overview –
Whether Child Focused Courts are already part of your practice or due to arrive in your local court soon, this Lunch and Learn session will help you stay ahead of the curve and deliver the best outcomes for your clients. We will explore the evolution from the Pathfinder Pilot to Child Focused Courts, examining the core features of the CFC model, its key strengths, and where further development may lie. Consideration will be given to the evidence base currently available in relation to the success and challenges of the Pathfinder Pilot and CFC’s.
The session will take a closer look at crucial elements such as amplifying the voice of the child, the approach to domestic abuse, and the role of non‑court dispute resolution (NCDR). Practical and useful tips will be shared to support both those preparing for roll‑out in their area and practitioners already working within Child Focused Courts.
We hope to have an interactive discussion during the session, answering your questions or hearing your experiences also.
