Trish McLellan of LawCare will lead discussions on:
• why a culture of long working hours is taking its toll on the profession
• the role senior practitioners can play in modelling good practice, and keeping new talent in the sector
• the impact of greater isolation from peers and families during the pandemic, and its potential legacy
• the importance of access to support and supervision in a changing working environment
She will also encourage the sharing of coping strategies and good practice, both personal and profession-led, whilst signposting to available resources.

About Trish
Trish McLellan practised as a Family solicitor in England for a number of years prior to moving to Edinburgh. She joined LawCare in 2005, since then she has worked across our various support channels, undertaken requisite training to inform our work, engaged with key stakeholders and developed and delivered numerous training sessions. She is also the staff lead on our research study Life in the Law.
