I am the Senior Partner of Latham & Co and specialise in Family Law having joined the firm in February 1999 upon qualification.

I am a member of Resolution and a certified member of The Family Law Accreditation Scheme.

My role involves advising clients in relation to all matters that are impacted by what can eb very complex relationships and upon separation. I can also provide advice at the beginning of a relationship with regard to pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.

This advice and assistance can include (but is not limited to):

• the legal and financial implications of separation and divorce
• cohabitation, marriage and civil partnership
• international aspects of divorce & dissolution
• the preservation and division of the family’s resources; including the family home, investments (including property), businesses, pensions, savings and even liabilities

• the effect of separation upon children, including child arrangements (previously known as contact, residence, custody and access) maintenance and even the risk of child abduction

• domestic abuse; protecting both you and the children, excluding your former partner from the home where necessary
• pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements
• pre-civil partnership agreements
• separation agreements when an immediate divorce is not planned
• changing your name or that of your children
