Since qualifying in 1984, I have helped build Hanne & Co’s Family Department into one of the largest in London.

I have have come across almost any matrimonial law situation possible although my focus now is on financial issues flowing from  relationship breakdown. My areas of expertise include:

• Trusts of Land disputes between unmarried couples
• Schedule 1 Children Act proceedings

I have had particular experience in cases involving business assets, properties with third party interests and unusual or complex assets.

My approach is to assess the assets and claims at the earliest stage and always look to settlement to avoid expensive, upsetting and unpredictable court proceedings – something that I am able to achieve in most cases.

I am an empathetic listener and genuinely care about my clients, aiming always to achieve the best outcome so they can move on with their lives emotionally and with financial security.

As a Resolution accredited specialist (Cohabitation and TOLATA,  and Complex Financial Remedies 2), I very much believe in alternative dispute resolution and always consider what’s appropriate in every case.

I am also a trained collaborative lawyer and have had great success in dealing with many cases using this method.
