My Firm: Julian McEvoy Family Law is a specialist family law and mediation practice based in Godalming focusing particularly on alternatives to court in family disputes.
Myself: I believe it’s far better to invest time and effort into finding solutions early on. This results in a smaller legal bill, a less traumatic experience, and the retention of positive long-term relationships between separating couples who generally still have children, friends and family connections in common.
With three decades’ experience of guiding clients to successful outcomes, I understand how traumatic it can be to go through a divorce or separation. I aim to support you through the entire process and, since everyone’s situation and needs differ, I provide a tailored service that fits each client individually.
Most importantly, I strive to help you resolve matters without conflict. Whenever children are involved, I treat their needs and best interests as a priority.
What I do
I help clients in Guildford, Godalming and the surrounding areas find a resolution to their family law issue – whether divorce, the dissolution of a civil partnership or a separation after cohabitation. I follow the Resolution Code of Practice and Family Law Protocol. I am an experienced mediator and collaborative lawyer, reflecting my constant preference for non-confrontational solutions to family law proceedings.
