I have a breadth of experience in all family work.  I offer a sensitive and approachable manner to all my clients and strive to ensure they achieve the best possible outcome.

I am able to assist you in relation to marriage and civil partnership breakdown and disputes between cohabiting couples which might involve helping you to reach an amicable solution to the financial aspects of the relationship coming to an end.  If matters cannot be resolved amicably I can assist you if court proceedings are needed to resolve the issues.

I have a particular specialism in work relating to children and can help you with resolving any disputes about arrangements for the children when parents part such as who the children will live with and how often they will spend with the other parent.  I can also assist for example if disputes arise such as where a child should go to school and whether it is appropriate for a child to travel abroad.

Sometimes a parent wishes to take the child to live in another country and I can assist if a dispute arises in this respect.

I am also experienced in dealing with children matters which have very difficult and complex issues.

I can also assist grandparents in helping them to ensure they have an ongoing relationship with their grandchildren which often becomes difficult once  the parents have separated.  This can sometimes be by way of a Special Guardianship order to enable the grandparents to care for their grandchildren where neither parent is in a position to do so or it may just be to ensure the grandparents can still spend time with their grandchildren.

I can also assist you with ensuring the children are properly provided for financially following family breakdown. This may assisting with general child maintenance issues or broader provision under Schedule 1 of the Children Act.

I am able to help you with adoption and special guardianship matters and also surrogacy.

I also frequently deal with cases involving allegations of domestic abuse.  You may need the protection of the courts if you are concerned about the behaviours of someone associated with you and I can assist with family injunctions.

I have additional advocacy rights which enable me as often as possible to represent clients in all family courts and this provides clients with continuity in their representation and the assurance they will not see someone new at court.
