Lucy Loizou

Lucy is Managing Partner at The International Family Law Group LLP.

Lucy handles complex financial cases relating to divorce and separation and has worked on a number of matters involving high net worth assets often including an international element. She has particular expertise in dealing with difficult trust and corporate assets and in cases concerning financial provision for children under Schedule 1 Children Act 1989.

Lucy regularly writes for various legal journals on topical aspects of family law: Family Law Week LexisNexis. She also writes a monthly family law column in Parikiaki newspaper for the Greek and Cypriot communities.

She frequently lectures to family lawyers about family law issues both nationally and internationally, for a number of national organisations and at professional conferences.

For the past 13 years Lucy presented her own fortnightly radio show on London Greek Radio fielding questions from listeners on family related issues. Lucy is much in demand as an advisor to the Greek and Cypriot community and is known as the ‘go to’ family lawyer for Greek and Cypriot families. Lucy speaks Greek fluently.

Lucy is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL).
