Natalie is an Associate Solicitor in the firm. She is a member of our Childcare team. She joined Watkins & Gunn in 2014 and successfully qualified as a Solicitor in 2016  Since then, she has developed a growing specialism in all aspects of family law, with a particular focus on children matters and she became an Associate in 2020 . She is praised by clients for representing parents in both private and public Children Act matters.

Natalie predominantly assists parents throughout all aspects of social services involvement, including attendance at Public Law Outline meetings and representation throughout care proceedings should the matter proceed to Court. She has experience of representing parents in complex cases involving jurisdictional issues, sex abuse and non-accidental injury. Natalie is also able to offer advice and representation to family members in respect of caring for a child that has been removed from their parent’s care by social services.

Natalie has been praised by professionals for her professional, yet sincere, representation of vulnerable clients and often represents those suffering from some form of mental health impairment or learning difficulties. She is particularly skilled in tailoring her approach to the individual needs of each client and can be relied upon to go the extra mile for whomever she is representing.

Natalie also has experience of representing parents who have children living in the United Kingdom but they themselves live outside of the jurisdiction of England and Wales. She has represented parents residing in Australia, Hungary, Denmark, Romania and Egypt.

Natalie can advise and assist parents in all aspects of private children law matters. She can also provide representation to parents throughout Court proceedings, such as applications for Child Arrangements Orders (for both contact and residence), Specific Issue Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and Special Guardianship Orders.
