Polly Dallyn

I joined the Horsham team of Family Law Partners in September 2020, where I advise clients on all aspects of family law including financial and children matters, as well as nuptial agreements and cases involving relocation.

A family law specialist, I trained and qualified at a City firm with offices in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Hong Kong. I grew up in West Sussex and following university studied for the GDL and LPC in Guildford.

My experience includes high value, complex financial matters, particularly in cases involving owner-managed/run businesses and family businesses. I have also worked on cases with an agricultural focus, advising on issues surrounding family farms, intergenerational wealth and assets passed down through families for many years. I have dealt with a number of cases in which non-disclosure was an issue, including representing clients in committal proceedings and in the High Court.

I have acted on a number of longstanding children matters, including cases with public law crossover and the involvement of a special guardianship order and criminal allegations.  In addition, I have worked on a number of internal relocation cases and applications for transfer of residence.

I also advise on nuptial agreements, including drafting pre and post nuptial agreements and, more specifically, cohabitation agreements

I sit on the National YRes Committee and I am chair of West Sussex YRes, playing an active role both Nationally and regionally to organise events and progress Resolution initiatives.

I live in Petworth and in my spare time I like to ride my horse, walk my dog and generally spend time outdoors.
