The Official Solicitor has published a revised certificate as to the capacity to conduct proceedings. The 2023 certificate is available here.
The revisions take into account the approach to assessment identified by the UKSC in A Local Authority (Respondent) v JB [2021] UKSC 52.
Please ensure you use the new form as a capacity assessment on the old form may well be returned with a request that the assessor complete the new (2023) form.
