Resolution, the campaigning body representing more than 6,500 family justice professionals, is delighted to announce the winners of its Resolution Awards 2024.
Some 200 family justice professionals came together on Thursday 19 September to celebrate Resolution’s values and professional excellence across the community.
Joshua Rozenberg, Britain’s best known legal commentator, was once again on hand to host and present the awards at Church House, Westminster, celebrating the very best talent, innovation and pioneering practice from the wide spectrum of family justice professionals that makes up Resolution’s membership.
With ten categories – including a new award, The Access to Justice Champion, celebrating members who have committed their expertise to give the most vulnerable individuals access to justice in family law – this year’s awards reflected the breadth of contributions Resolution members make, and the diversity of the community.
This year’s winners were selected by an expert judging panel from across the sector, who deliberated on the many outstanding entries submitted.
Resolution’s award for outstanding achievement, the John Cornwell Award, was presented posthumously to Maggie Rae, celebrating her work as a leading family lawyer. She was a pioneer in her field but always had time to help and mentor younger lawyers and to defend women’s rights.
