I am a Solicitor and Collaborative Lawyer, offering a range of options to suit clients’ needs from our Reigate and Leatherhead offices. I deal with pre-nuptial, cohabitation and family creation/sperm donor agreements as well as issues that arise on divorce or separation including financial remedies and arranging parents’ time with children. I help clients make a smooth transition from being married or in a relationship, to being single, using the approach that is most beneficial for them. I am committed to helping clients to use an amicable and constructive approach to resolving issues, with a view to keeping their personal and economic dignity intact. I try to take time to acquaint myself with my clients’ values and overall goals so that I can help them try to resolve matters in a way that upholds those principles, within the legal framework.

Most of my cases are resolved without court proceedings being issued. If court proceedings do become necessary, many cases settle at a very early stage.

Where couples have children, I try to help them establish the realities of their lives and focus on the needs of their children so that they can try to side step conflict and help their children through family transition in the best way possible.

I am a Resolution Accredited Specialist, my specialist areas being Advanced Financial Provision and Children Law.

I qualified as a Solicitor in 1999, becoming a Partner at TWM in 2004. I have previously worked as a Mediator. I am a member of Resolution and of Surrey and Sussex Separation and Divorce, a group of Solicitors, Mediators and Family Consultants who promote a non-confrontational approach.

I am head of TWM’s Reigate office. I enjoy spending most of my spare time with my children. I often returns to my native Cornwall where I like to walk on the moors and beaches.
