I am a specialist family solicitor, mediator and collaborative practitioner, based in Essex/London and representing clients across the UK.
• Resolution Accredited Specialist in Complex Financial Remedies and Children Law
• Member of The Law Society’s Family Law Advanced Accreditation Scheme
• Recommended by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner since 2017
I can advise you in relation to any queries you may have regarding:
• annulment
• child arrangements
• civil partnership dissolution
• cohabitation agreements
• divorce
• domestic abuse
• financial issues arising from relationship breakdown
• judicial separation
• prenuptial / postnuptial agreements
• separation agreements
As a qualified mediator and collaborative practitioner, I strive to protect my clients from the emotional and financial burden of court proceedings wherever possible. I actively promote arbitration as a private, efficient and flexible alternative to litigation. However, when court proceedings are unavoidable, my extensive experience ensures that clients are fully supported and properly advised throughout.
I understand that relationship breakdowns – particularly if children are involved – are profoundly challenging for the whole family. My focus is on listening to your needs, working at your pace and helping you find practical, positive solutions that fit your unique circumstances.
I regularly advise parents, grandparents and other family members in relation to child arrangements, often involving serious safeguarding issues such as parental alienation, drug / alcohol misuse and domestic abuse. One of my niche specialisms is advising on applications for children to be relocated, whether elsewhere within England and Wales or abroad. I am proud to have been recognised by the Legal 500 as ‘a pragmatic child relocation specialist’.
I am also very experienced in advising on the financial implications of entering and ending relationships. I can help protect assets and/or find practical, positive solutions to help families stabilise their financial positions .
As a dedicated member of Resolution, I adhere to its code of practice, promoting a constructive, non-confrontational approach. I am regularly invited to speak at national seminars and conferences, sharing insights and expertise.
Outside of work:
When I am not advising clients, you will likely find me exploring the Essex countryside with my dog, Lottie, or contributing to my local community. I’m also a pianist, a choir singer and an enthusiastic participant in charity events and challenges.
