The Legal Aid Agency has published new guidance on high cost cases and CWA codes
High cost cases
The LAA has issued some new guidance for the Care Case Fee Scheme (CCFS) and QC/2 Counsel Events high cost cases.
They have added guidance for Counsel on high cost payment on account scenarios and updated the single counsel final FAST checklist and the QC/2 Counsel final FAST checklist.
CWA guidance updated
The guidance on which controlled work codes to use when submitting your legal aid claim in CWA and for reporting controlled work matters has been updated. You should now be using version 21, dated 20 September 2019.
