Recognising excellence: Resolution Awards 2026 finalists announced

Back to news

Resolution is delighted to announce the finalists for the Resolution Awards 2026.

The Resolution Awards celebrate the individuals, teams and organisations who embody the values at the heart of Resolution’s Code of Practice. Recognising excellence, innovation and dedication across the family justice profession, the awards shine a spotlight on those making a meaningful difference for families.

This year’s finalists were selected by an expert judging panel from across the sector, who considered a wide range of high-quality entries from members committed to improving outcomes for separating families and children.

The shortlist reflects the breadth of talent, expertise and collaboration that exists across the Resolution community, and highlights the outstanding contribution members continue to make to the family justice profession.

With 16 categories – including four new awards – this year’s celebration is Resolution’s biggest awards ceremony to date, reflecting the breadth of contributions Resolution members make, and the diversity of our community.

In addition to the 15 judged categories listed below, Resolution’s award for outstanding contribution to the family justice profession, the Resolution Lifetime Achievement Award – in memory of John Cornwell – will be presented on the night.

Joanna Gosling, Resolution member, mediator and broadcaster will host the awards, which will be held at Church House, London, on Thursday 24 September 2026. Tickets for the night are now available.

Melanie Bataillard-Samuel, Chair of Resolution, said: “Congratulations to all of our finalists. Their work demonstrates not only professional excellence, but also a genuine commitment to helping families navigate some of the most challenging moments in their lives.

“The quality of entries this year was exceptional and shows the strength, talent and dedication that exists across the Resolution community. Each of those shortlisted has shown a passion for supporting families with compassion and integrity, while championing the constructive, non-confrontational approach that lies at the heart of Resolution’s Code of Practice.”

Tickets for the Awards Gala Dinner, including hospitality tables, are available to book now. Finalists, firms, Resolution members and professionals from across the family justice sector are invited to join us for an unforgettable evening that shines a spotlight on excellence and celebrates Resolution’s Code of Practice.
