This event is for Professional Practice Consultants (PPCs). We welcome you to join us for a day of PPC discussion, interaction, and learning. Explore the evolving nature of the PPC role, including key duties and expectations. Stay updated with the most recent changes in practices and standards within the field. Our focus will be the current PPC role and responsibilities as well as challenges and opportunities. Additionally, we will be reviewing the latest practice changes and sharing knowledge. This day promises to offer valuable insights and practical takeaways.

A 6 week training programme (6 learning hours) delivered by Clinical Psychologist Dr Angharad Rudkin for professionals working with separating parents. This programme has been specially prepared for family law solicitors/trainees, Paralegals, Mediators, Barristers, Chartered Legal Executives, Counsellors, Family Support Workers, Magistrates and others.

This practical course enhances communication skills and improves working relationships at all levels. It focuses on high-level communication for client meetings, mediation, court appearances, and professional interactions. Emphasizing verbal and non-verbal cues, it highlights the powerful impact of words, especially in challenging client situations.

This event is free of charge for POD Chairs. This event was formally know as the Pod Liaison Officers Day and we're delighted to reintroduce this to our training calendar. We will be in contact with the PODs soon with details of how to book.

With the current situation following the coronavirus outbreak, we’ve had to postpone or cancel our programme of face to face courses and events in the first half of this year. In response, we will be increasing our offer of online training and learning. We would like to hear from you.

This face to face module is designed to deliver 10 hours of learning and development for members in order to consider how to work effectively with single clients, separating couples and keeping the need of children to the forefront of discussions. It can also be completed and used towards becoming a collaborative practitioner or mediator, as part of the Resolution Together overall learning and development pathway.
