I am the co-founder of Consilia Legal. I established the practice in 2014 with my co-director Marie Walsh as we wanted to deliver a more personal service which is tailored around each individual client’s needs. The ethos is the firm is to achieve the best outcome for our clients in the most cost-efficient way.

I am a highly experienced family solicitor and accredited mediator having worked in family law for over 12 years. I advise and assist individuals in all aspects of private family law with a particular emphasis on high net worth matrimonial finance cases and complex Children Act proceedings.

I have particular experience in dealing with cases involving complex financial structures, businesses and overseas assets. I am also regularly instructed by the Official Solicitor in London on cases where a client lacks capacity.

I understand how important the client, lawyer relationship is. This is why I offer a free consultation to all new clients so that they feel comfortable with my approach before entering into a professional relationship.

I am the  Chair of Resolution (North and West Yorkshire). As a member of Resolution, I abide by a Code of Practice and am committed to the constructive resolution of family issues and considers the needs of the whole family, in particular the best needs of any children involved.

I am an accredited family mediator and trained to speak to children as part of the mediation process.

I am known for providing the highest level of client care and offering commercial and pragmatic advice. I take a constructive and non-confrontational approach to cases, whilst ensuring I am robust and focused on achieving the best possible results for my clients.
