Resolution National Committee member Graeme Fraser has been appointed to the Family Procedures Rules Committee (FPRC).

The FPRC set and maintain the rules of court for all family proceedings as well as the supporting Practice Directions. They aim to create clear, easily understandable rules to create an accessible, fair and efficient family justice system.

Following the public announcement, Graeme Fraser, commented:

I feel honoured and privileged to have been selected to serve on the Family Procedure Rule Committee.

Family law practice and policy are in a state of flux, and I am keen to contribute as fully as possible to discussions in relation to important changes in our laws that affect family justice professionals and our clients.

As a Resolution member, I will strive to ensure that a constructive and non-confrontational approach to the resolution of family law disputes remains at the heart of what I do.

Mr Fraser has considerable experience in advising on financial settlements involving complex assets and substantial wealth. His work often involves international aspects, and settlements involving commercial risk, such as insolvency or liquidity issues. He has been a partner at OGR Stock Denton since 2017 and currently chairs Resolution’s Cohabitation Committee.
