2020 proved a challenging year for clients and mediators. We are aware that PPCs worked hard and creatively in supporting consultees many of whom found it stressful and challenging working with clients remotely.
The forum will provide an opportunity to look at areas that have worked well and what we might build on as well as those which continue to provide us with worries about suitability, safeguarding and how best to manage these.
We know many of our consultees struggle to know at the outset of a mediation whether it is appropriate and may take on mediations which break down.
We will look at clarity around assessment and building confidence for mediators in considering alternatives when mediation is not suitable.
This forum will be held in two parts:
- 10am-12pm
- 2-4pm
